“1st time in Phu Quoc, 1st round of golf at vino earl golf club & the place is absolutely stunning. As soon as you walk into the open design reception you know your beachside. Amazing bamboo design, very relaxed and not the over the top clubhouse golf clubs you’ll find in the Vietnam. Service was relaxed but not slow, the food standard for any golf course. What you read was what you got, very tasty and quickly served. The 27-hole course itself is stunning. Like all golf courses, each has their own signature hole, with vino earl there are about 6-7 holes that make you stop and take it all in. The caddies were knowledgeable on each hole, very attentive and quick to work out which club you need from any distance to the pin. Caddie tips are usually 200,000vnd ($10), but 300,000vnd was worth it. They are more than happy to go to a kiosk a couple of holes out to pick up drinks & cold towels. Ian cording the GM was very accommodating and easy to chat to about the place. He’s been in Vietnam a number of years & worked at a few of the high end courses in Hanoi. Highly recommend the course for a couple of rounds.”
